  11. Hi,
  12.     
  13.     I've been trying to get the SLS distribution running on my
  14. machine.  As far as I can tell everything gets installed to hda1 fine,
  15. the problem that I am having is this:  The doinstall program creates the
  16. boot disk and tells me to reboot.  When I boot with the disk it then
  17. reports various things such as memory, etc.  Where I think the problem
  18. is this - While its booting I get the message

  20.     WD8013 board not found at I/O=280

  22. What is this WD8013 board?  The I/O=280 makes me think that it is trying
  23. to do something with my Sound Blaster board.  If I'm not mistaken the
  24. SB's base address is at 280.

  26. If this is what it is how can I get the boot disk ignore the SB, if not
  27. the SB then what?  I appreciate any ideas...

  29. My hardware configuration is as follows:

  31. 386 DX, 16M ram, 104M Hard Drive, Diamond Speedstar HiColor, 
  32.     Sound Blaster.
