- Hi,
-
- I've been trying to get the SLS distribution running on my
- machine. As far as I can tell everything gets installed to hda1 fine,
- the problem that I am having is this: The doinstall program creates the
- boot disk and tells me to reboot. When I boot with the disk it then
- reports various things such as memory, etc. Where I think the problem
- is this - While its booting I get the message
-
- WD8013 board not found at I/O=280
-
- What is this WD8013 board? The I/O=280 makes me think that it is trying
- to do something with my Sound Blaster board. If I'm not mistaken the
- SB's base address is at 280.
-
- If this is what it is how can I get the boot disk ignore the SB, if not
- the SB then what? I appreciate any ideas...
-
- My hardware configuration is as follows:
-
- 386 DX, 16M ram, 104M Hard Drive, Diamond Speedstar HiColor,
- Sound Blaster.
