- I've been using SLS and Linux for about a week now and am really enjoying
- having a UNIX box on my desk. However, in a recent attempt to get the
- networking aspects of the system working (I have an NE1000 card), I needed
- to upgrade the 0.98pl5 kernel which came with SLS to the 0.98pl6 kernel.
- When I did that, everything which was supposed to use kmem suddenly stopped
- working. Now uptime reports zero load level at all times and ps doesn't
- report anything but the column headers. Is there some trick here, do I need
- to upgrade again to 0.99, or is it something simple I've overlooked.
