  15. Any recommendations for a fax modem, 9600 or 14.4, for use with both a mac and 
  16. pc? Obviously, I don't expect to use it with both simultaneously, but do go
  17. back and forth a lot. Faxing, terminal emulation, file transfer (large graphics
  18. files), the usual stuff. The pc runs windows most of the time. 
  19. Availabilty of good software for both platforms is a must.

  21. PS. I purchased and returned a Global Village 9600 modem; it was at best
  22. unreliable with the Quadra.

  24. PPS. Any feedback on the quality of faxes sent from a program expecting
  25. PostScript output would be appreciated. This includes via Freedom of
  26. The Press.
