- We've recently had a problem with inter-office trunks between two
- exchanges here - the result being that I can call most anywhere
- fine from either location, but location b can't call location a
- much of the time. The problem has to do with multiplexing of
- calls between the offices, and the equipment not being in sync
- properly. When the carrier slips a bit, each call suffers a
- phase shift - really ruins modem calls 1200 and up that use phase
- encoding as part of the modulation scheme..

- The real point here being, you should try some other modems on
- these lines, or try calling between these same two modems on
- some different lines (in different exchanges, or in the same
- exchange), before you blame the supras.
