- I just received an IBM 3101-22 terminal, and wanted to test it out by
- hooking it to my computer's serial port, and running a terminal
- program on my PC. I didn't think it would be this trivial, and it
- wasn't-- but I'm at a loss to explain its failure.
- Why didn't this work? Is there a way to hook up the terminal to the
- PC's serial port so I can watch the characters appear on the PC monitor when
- they're typed at the terminal keyboard?
-
- Thanks,
-
- Seth.
-
- (I did this b/c the 3101 needs a male/male RS232 cable, and I don't
- have one yet...)
