- Hi, netter,
- My company is considering a MS Windows application that uses DEC's PathWork as
- the network. What we want to know is the following :
- How good is DEC net (that is PathWork), is it responsive enough to be used as
- a multi-user shared file/directory network ?
- How good is it in comparison to other network, say Novell network that runs
- with MS windows 3.1 ?
-
- Initial feedback that I got was not good at all, but I don't know if that was due to
- the system set-up of PathWork or not. Any DEC long time user has any info ?
-
- I will be grateful for any mail directed to me or to the list. I will send a
- summary if others are interested.
-
- Thank you for reading this mail.
