- I really hate flaming against Carl, but this is precisely an instance
- of what I mentioned in my response to the admin's posting (sorry for
- forgetting the name): not tolerating any case-by-case interpretation
- of rules and blaming them as censorship in the first place. I think
- this is the thing what's poisoning the climate at the side of the
- defenders of academic freedom. Problems like this should be resolved
- by consensus rather than sticking to the words.
