  23.   This seems like yet another specious statistic. For starters, nobody
  24. knows how many gay people there are -- not even the not in the closet 
  25. gay identified variety. How then does one estimate their voting patterns
  26. or income or toilet paper preferences?
  27.   If had to guess, I would think that gay people are only a little
  28. bit less apathetic than your average joe -- but I could easily be
  29. wrong toward the apathectic side.
