  18. I wouldn't be so sure who's being short-sighted.  You're a
  19. Presbyterian; what are you to make of the PCUSA's decision regarding
  20. that lesbian pastor?  How many times must you get stepped on before
  21. waking up and saying you won't be associated with any such organized
  22. cause which not only works against you within the very institution to
  23. which you claim "fellowship", but against you in society at large?

  25. I think comments that that above are very healthy.  They describe the
  26. situation as it is, and not as some gay people would like to believe
  27. it is.  They are a useful polemic.
