  17. It would amend Article 2 of the Colorado Constitution by the addition
  18. of Section 30, which states: NO PROTECTED STATUS BASED ON
  19. HOMOSEXUAL, LESBIAN OR BISEXUAL ORIENTATION. Neither the State of
  20. Colorado, through any of its branches or departments, nor any of its
  21. agencies, political subdivisions, municipalities or school
  22. districts, shall enact, adopt or enforce any statute, regulation,
  23. ordinance or policy whereby homosexual, lesbian or bisexual
  24. orientation, conduct, practices or relationships shall constitute or
  25. otherwise be the basis of, or entitle any person or class of persons
  26. to have or claim any minority status, quota preferences, protected
  27. status or claim of discrimination. This Section of the Constitution
  28. shall be in all respects self-executing.
