- I read a glowing review of Schweitzer Mountain in Ski Country
- magazine. I hadn't heard of the place before, but the article
- is getting me to seriously consider it. I'd be especially
- interested in how "kid friendly" it is. In other words, do
- they have good all-day children's ski classes (my eight-year-old
- daughter, for example needs to break out of her confident,
- accomplished beginner's mode into some more intermediate challenges).
- Is the terrain balanced between beginner, intermediate and expert?
-
- I like the access by Amtrak, as I could get some pretty cheap
- train fares and packages. The only downer is that the train
- stops in Sandpoint, Idaho at 12:30 a.m. westbound and 1:30 a.m.
- eastbound. Not the most convenient schedule.
-
- Opinions welcome. Thanks.
