  12. I read a glowing review of Schweitzer Mountain in Ski Country
  13. magazine. I hadn't heard of the place before, but the article
  14. is getting me to seriously consider it. I'd be especially 
  15. interested in how "kid friendly" it is. In other words, do
  16. they have good all-day children's ski classes (my eight-year-old
  17. daughter, for example needs to break out of her confident,
  18. accomplished beginner's mode into some more intermediate challenges).
  19. Is the terrain balanced between beginner, intermediate and expert?

  21. I like the access by Amtrak, as I could get some pretty cheap
  22. train fares and packages. The only downer is that the train
  23. stops in Sandpoint, Idaho at 12:30 a.m. westbound and 1:30 a.m.
  24. eastbound. Not the most convenient schedule.
