- Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but so far as I know, Bergundtal
- cloth is nothing nore than a lighty polyurethane-coated nylon with a
- silicone treatment on the outside. The breatheability comes from the fact
- that the coating is very thin hand has small holes in it, and the water
- repellency is from the silicone. Goretex is far superior in my opinion,
- and is probably worth the extra $. Other coatings (ultrex, entrant, etc.)
- are supposedly quite waterproof, but not as breatheable as Goretex.
