-
- Maybe, but your best bet might be to move the antenna to the other side of
- the house. Height may make a diff. but usually it is the strong RF feild
- associated with the antnenna and it's mast. If the antenna is old, make sure
- that the SWR is very low and that the connections at all the joints are
- clean and very tight. Every so often (every 2 to 3 years depending on how the
- SWR is doing or if there is any unusal RFI things happening) I will disassemble
- my antenna joints and lightly sand the tubing with #600 sandpaper and
- reassemble. To keep the tubing tight I use automotive hose clamps.

-
- More than likely not, your neighbor is picking up the fundimental frequency.
- If there was strong interferance on one of the TV channels then it might be
- likely a filter would help. It very well may be that your neighbor needs to
- have a filters installed on the devices that are picking up your signal.
- This is more common in cases of RFI than is imagined.
-
- I believe that the ARRL has a hand book on resolving RFI problems and
- that this would shed a bit of light on the whole process.

- Have fun! John in the Fort
