  21. Well, I certainly hope not or I (and I suspect a lot of other people)
  22. are in for big trouble.  On the other hand, acetic acid vapour is a
  23. respiratory irritant for many people (me, for example) and an
  24. unventilated darkroom can be a problem for those people.

  26. My response to this has been to make up my own stop bath from citric,
  27. rather than acetic, acid.  Seems to work fine, and is odourless.
