- Well, I certainly hope not or I (and I suspect a lot of other people)
- are in for big trouble. On the other hand, acetic acid vapour is a
- respiratory irritant for many people (me, for example) and an
- unventilated darkroom can be a problem for those people.

- My response to this has been to make up my own stop bath from citric,
- rather than acetic, acid. Seems to work fine, and is odourless.
