- Greetings unto the Rialto!
-
- As no other Atlantian seems to have yet spoken, I would like to inform
- the populace of this bridge that Sir Cuan O'Day (last name virtually
- certain to be misspelled) has won Atlantian Crown tourney held last
- weekend for his lady, Lady Aria the Nimblefingered. I had the honor
- of being his opponent in the finals, and will attest to all that
- I was fairly beaten, and the Crown fairly won.
-
- The two combatants defeated in the semifinals were Sir Thorbrandr Olafsson
- and Lord Sigurd Ericsson. Prince Cuan is from the fair barony of
- Windmaster's Hill; Sir Thorbrandr is from the barony of Lochmere,
- Lord Sigurd is from the barony of Ponte Alto, and I hail from the
- ancient barony of Storvik.
-
- The King and Queen of the Middle honored Atlantia with their presence
- at the Crown Tournament and were fair spoken and generous.
-
- The weather was a bit chill, being around 45 degrees, but sunny and
- fair withal. Good fighting weather.
