- I wish that were the case in Colorado. I received a ticket for 70 in a 55
- on Saturday. If he'd dropped the speed by 6mph, I'd be $40 richer and have
- one less point. The guy had no mercy. I had DoD 0498.3 screaming his head
- off and I was in a hurry to get him back to mom so that he could eat. The
- State trooper was even expecting baby of his own next week.
-
- I've been told by people in the know that the Colorado State troopers are
- showing no mercy since one of their own was shot and killed by a couple of
- kids last week. Yeah, that's the ticket, take it out on my obviously
- vicious family in a mini-van.
-
- Anyone in Colorado know how easy it is to get this ticket reduced? Can I
- just show up in court and ask nicely? Or will they just laugh in my face
- and demand even more money?
-
- My top three wishes: 1) That we get a Honda shop in town again so that I
- don't have to drive to Greeley and run the gaunlet of radar, 2) That I'd had
- my radar detector with me, 3) DoD 0498.3 would be more considerate with his
- appetite.
