- I was out doing the late fall pruning today and discovered 3-inch baby
- snakes lying under every planter in the garden (one snake per planter).
- They look like snakes of the "garter" variety (ie. harmless) and I'd
- like to not be the cause of their demise. Since it's so cold out they
- are barely moving snakes. Can I still safely water the plants in the
- planters without drowning the "sleeping" snakes below? Does anyone
- have ideas on keeping these snakes happy, healthy and invisible to the
- general public (ie. wild)?
