- This is the first day I have read this newsgroup. I am an exceedingly
- amateur player, and have little knowledge of the world of go.
-
- Now that I have qualified my ignorance, I can ask a stupid question
- or two.
-
- What is IGS?
-
- Does anyone play go across the net? A friend and I played a game,
- under honor not to get unfair help, through email. It was fun, but
- cumbersome.
-
- Does anyone know how to find local GO clubs? I can't even find any
- GO mags in the newsstands here. There are bound to be some, since
- this is Washington D.C. They don't even play go at my college.
-
- I have a few friends who play, but we have become tired of playing
- only each other. None of us are ranked, because none of us know
- of any local clubs. HELP!
-
- Any advice is appreciated...
