- What is being done with the hurricane damaged boats in Florida? I hear that
- after the insurance company's pay for the boats the boats are hauled off as
- junk. Is this true? I am asking because I wish to replace the 4 cylinder
- motor in my boat with a 4.3 v6. And I need to find a used setup for all of the
- little bits and pieces that go along with the 4.3 motor. I could buy the parts
- from the dealer but I cannot afford to lay out that kind of money. One of the
- local dealers told me that the boats declared total loses by the insurance
- company's can be bought cheaply. Is this true and how can I go about getting
- more info.

- Thanks,
- Jeff Potter
