-
- The *only* good fleet to my knowledge is in Santa Cruz, home
- of the Moore 24. Typically a dozen or more show up for the
- monthly one design races put on by SCYC from April to October.
-
- There were about 156 of the little buggers built and to my mind
- it is the finest of the (small) Santa Cruz ULDB boats (SC27, O30,
- etc.). They sail well, are controllable and go like stink in light
- or heavy air.
-
- BTW, Moore's Reef is closing up at the end of this month and may
- not have any place to go. The end of an era??
