- I had identical problems with a perforated fuel pump bladder. It'll run
- forever in neutral and even up to around 1000 RPM, but lay into it runs dry
- after about 1 to 4 seconds. Turns out the perforated bladded was caused by
- insufficient cleaning of the internal fuel tank during assembly. Chips of
- aluminum perforated my fuel filter then the fuel pump. Had the tank
- drained and cleaned. There was about 100 small chips in the tank.

- To test this out, remove your fuel filter and try running the motor. If it
- still happens it's probably the pump.

- BTW, it's always a good idea to install a second heavy duty, high capacity
- fuel filter between the tank and the motor. I learned my lesson.
