- I think that the following _might_ work. Get a "silver trace" pen and
- write over the scratch. This pen is used to mark conductive
- traces onto PC boards and costs roughly $10. Check in a electronics
- supply store. If anyone needs exact information, I have a mail order
- source I can follow up with.

- CAVEAT: In theory this should be perfect. However, I haven't tried
- it and there might be some difficulties, e.g. the backing of the
- original trace is an insulator or the glass is too slippery to stick.
