  11. Draining showed only a few ml's of emulsion, and changing the oil got 
  12. rid of it.  In the end, I only correlate the problem with having taken 
  13. the car through a power car wash, something I rarely do.  The only 
  14. place I could figure water might enter is through the air intake, 
  15. which points upward in this engine.

  17. So, all was well until several days ago when I noticed the same 
  18. symptoms.  About a week ago we drove in some very heavy rain, so there 
  19. is a pattern here.  Has anyone ever heard of such??  If this is a 
  20. generic Saab problem, I can't imagine that it hasn't been seen before.  
  21. Or am I missing something?

  23. The only test I can think of is to go through the car wash again while 
  24. my oil is contaminated, and see if the problem gets worse, checking 
  25. for a wet spot in the engine compartment that would give a clue as to 
  26. the entry point.
