  12. My 300D Benz is very hard to start.  The mechanic says the compression
  13. is down to about 200 across the set and an engine overhaul is what
  14. I need.  He says it will cost $4000 to $5000.  (I can't complain,
  15. I have done nothing but normal maintenance for the last 300,000 miles.)
  16. Otherwise the car is sound.  I love the way it drives.
  17. Does anyone know any alternatives?
