  13. I've noticed at times when driving behind some cars that I can smell rotten
  14. egg gas (hydrogen sulfide?).  Is it normal for cars to emit that smell even if
  15. everything is functioning okay in the emission system.  Or, could the smell
  16. indicate a plugged catalytic converter, bad O2 sensor, bad timing, etc.?

  18. If there is already a FAQ on this topic, could someone direct me to it?
  19. Otherwise, I would appreciate hearing about the causes of this smell.
