- Well, my '90 Mustang's glove box is having problems.

- The (plastic) lock cylinder had previously parted company with the rest
- of the mechanism, but it worked if you inserted it and turned it. Now,
- however, the lock cylinder still turns, but will not release the lock.

- I have taken out the bolts which support the bottom, but the box is
- constructed so that, when locked, it cannot be removed that way. Also,
- while the facade is plastic, it seems the actual box is entirely metal.
- Very clever, actually.
