  11. I've got a 84 ford tempo with a brake problem.
  12. The front driverside caliper (front discs) wont
  13. release all the way.

  15. The passenger side wheel will free spin when the
  16. brake is released, while the driver side  still
  17. has friction a plenty...

  19. I tried to push the piston back but didn't have a big enough
  20. C-clamp.

  22. I'm looking at rebuilding the caliper.
  23. the rebuild kit costs only $5 which I assume is all the
  24. rubber stuff.

  26. I have the tool (Torx, a 45 as I recall) to remove the caliper,
  27. but what is a good thing to plug the brake line with ?

  29. I also already have a brake-bleed-tube of the checkvalve variety.

  31. I've never rebuilt a caliper but it appears strait-forward.

  33. Any tips on freeing the piston  & getting it off the rotor ?
  34. Any tips on anything else ?
