  20.    Agreeed totally. There are in my mind four possibilities for the role of
  21.    Doctor who: Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, John Cleese and John Thaw.

  23.     Hopkins would make an excellent choice you are right, he has a 
  24.     wonderful eccentricity all of his own.
  25.     Connery is a big name and would be agood choice for a movie
  26.     Cleese is totally gaga and perfect for the role,
  27.     and John Thaw (TV's INSPECTOR MORSE) would be a brooding
  28.     character, a 'tired' doctor.

  30.     Hopkins however, must resist the temptattion to go OTT.after Dracula,
  31.     imagine it, Hopkins vs Alan Rickman (Robin Hood:Prince of thieves) as the baddie who wants to destroy the world!!!
