-
- Agreeed totally. There are in my mind four possibilities for the role of
- Doctor who: Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, John Cleese and John Thaw.
-
- Hopkins would make an excellent choice you are right, he has a
- wonderful eccentricity all of his own.
- Connery is a big name and would be agood choice for a movie
- Cleese is totally gaga and perfect for the role,
- and John Thaw (TV's INSPECTOR MORSE) would be a brooding
- character, a 'tired' doctor.
-
- Hopkins however, must resist the temptattion to go OTT.after Dracula,
- imagine it, Hopkins vs Alan Rickman (Robin Hood:Prince of thieves) as the baddie who wants to destroy the world!!!
