  14. Sorry for this cross-post, but activity is pretty low in alt.child-support,
  15. so I thought it best to send this article to this newsgroup too.

  17. Some friends of mine are working on a papir on what we in Norwegian call
  18. key-children. It's children in the age about five to twelve years who
  19. for some reason have no parents at home when they for instance arrive home
  20. after school. The reason may be that the parents are at work. The children
  21. then have their own key, and have to spend time on their own at home.
  22.  
  23. They (my friends that is, not the children) are trying to find out if this
  24. will have any effect on the kids in any way.
  25.  
  26. But these friends suffer from a lack of material. Is there anybody out there
  27. who are able to help out? If you've read any books or articles about this
  28. subject, or have any comments on your own, please mail me or send
  29. followups.

  31. BTW, is there an English term for key-children?
