- Yes!

-
- Not if the doctor isn't worried.
-
- My baby has two main hobbies. One is spitting up--the other is eating
- twice as much as he needs so that he has something to spit up. Both
- are lots of fun, in his opinion.
-
- Be glad he's breastfed--formula spit-up stinks, and makes nasty black
- stains on clothing. Breastmilk spit-up doesn't even have an odor for
- the first three months, and it doesn't stain at all.
-
- It's kind of handy, as the excess breastmilk produced in response to
- his demand represents a reservoir for when his appetite increases.
- During growth spurts, he hardly spits up at all.
-
- One gets very good with a burp cloth....
-
- By the way, my baby is 6.8 months old and still a terrible spitter.
- The end is not in sight for your friend.
