- This is what I have heard:

- The key charge seems to be that Dell's profits was helped by
- trading in currency markets. Dell has indicated that
- it has adopted accepted accounting practices
- in reporting the gains and losses from currency
- transactions and that such transactions have not had a
- material impact on the company's profitability.

- The analyst (Kidder Peabody, I think) also seems to feel that Dell's growth
- could slow -- but everyone seems to believe this anyways,
- since it has been growing so fast. The analyst
- also feels that the company could have more difficulty
- controlling its expenses structure.
