  18. I'd sure like to know the reasoning behind this, as well as how to tell
  19. "good" teflon tape from "bad" teflon tape.  The installation instructions
  20. that came with my new stove specified either pipe dope or teflon tape
  21. for sealing the threads - no mention of what type of teflon tape to use.
