Sun coming out with a laptop is a natural progression of their shift to
MIS.   Clone manaufacturers are also likely, perhaps more likely, to
get in on the deal.  Their problem is, as always, cost. Sun gets the
chip reasonably cheaply because they helped design it.  The cost for
clone manufacturers is still $500 per chip I understand.  And
development costs to implement Solaris 2.x on that chip will be a tad
:-) more expensive for cloners then for Sun.
