- The situation may not be as bad as you think, depending on the Primos rev.
- Those revs of Primos which support RFS allow you to manually or automatically
- flush modified locate buffers after a crash. Although this does not
- guarrantee file system and file data integrity it goes a LONG WAY to improving
- it over previous revs - especially in the high-end machines which are more
- likely to have thousands of modified, but unflushed disk blocks in memory.
- If you combine RFS with FS_RECOVER you'll have a good idea of where to expect
- problems in the file system, and the best chance of quickly returning a
- working system to your users.
