  12. I tested some file transfer times from a Mac Quadra 900 to a Mac fx and
  13. to a EISA netware server. The Quadra has 68 MB memory, fx 32 MB and the 
  14. server has 16 MB. In the server the blocksize of the disk used was 16k.

  16. Ethertalk phase 2.0 protocol was used with both transfers. NW4MAC version
  17. is 3.011. The server has 200 receive buffers.

  19. The test was done with no (or almost) other traffic in the Ethernet.

  21. The transfers were done from Photoshop 2.0 program. Following test times
  22. were measured using 26 585 kbytes file size.
