- I am trying to run NCSA Telnet over the serial COM ports of PCs. I load the
- packet driver of the COM1 port called SLIP8250.COM as follows:
-
- slip8250 0x60 -h 6 4 0x3f8 9600 3000
-
- where 6=driver class
- 4=interrupt used by COM1
- 9600=baud rate
-
- The error message that i get after running Telnet is
-
- packet driver vector invalid
- packet accessse type arror 2
- can't access IP handle interface type 1
- Board initialization failed!
-
- Could somebody give me a clue as to what i am doing wrong
-
- Any advice will be very much appreciated.
