  10. I am trying to run NCSA Telnet over the serial COM ports of PCs. I load the
  11. packet driver of the COM1 port called SLIP8250.COM as follows:

  13. slip8250 0x60 -h 6 4 0x3f8 9600 3000
  14.  
  15. where 6=driver class
  16.       4=interrupt used by COM1
  17.   9600=baud rate
  18.  
  19. The error message that i get after running Telnet is
  20.  
  21. packet driver vector invalid
  22. packet accessse type arror 2
  23. can't access IP handle interface type 1 
  24. Board initialization failed!
  25.  
  26. Could somebody give me a clue as to what i am doing wrong
  27.  
  28. Any advice will be very much appreciated.
