- You were told wrong. PC SIMMs have an extra chip on them for parity checking.
- This means they usually cost about 15% more. They CAN generally be used in a
- Mac however, if you happen to have a few hanging around. There are of course
- always speed considerations, and you CANNOT use a Mac SIMM in a PC.
