- We have a PB100. No floppy there and we've never missed it. We do
- often hook it up to our home localTalk network to exchange files with
- our main machines (my wife's or mine) or to print to the LaserWriter.

- The only time you really _need_ a floppy is when the disk goes south,
- and the ability of the PowerBook to act as hard disk when hooked up
- via SCSI solves that problem.

- P.S. I once plugged the PB100 into the SCSI port when it was asleep
- (by accident). When I turned on the PB100 by hitting a key I was
- greeted with a message that said something like "Hey! Don't do that.
- Please unplug me as soon as you can!" Nice job...
