  11.     I am about to purchase a used notebook, and someone has called
  12. my attention to the fact that Librex is now an "orphan" of Nippon
  13. Steel, i.e., the producer has gone out of the notebook business. Does
  14. anyone have any idea how easy it will be to find used/new upgrade
  15. components or replacement parts? The computer meets and (in some
  16. facets) exceeds my needs, which are not going to change (mostly word
  17. processing), so I'm not too worried about things like RAM
  18. availability, but what about battery replacements? How standardized
  19. are batteries for laptops and notebooks? Thanks in advance.
