- I am about to purchase a used notebook, and someone has called
- my attention to the fact that Librex is now an "orphan" of Nippon
- Steel, i.e., the producer has gone out of the notebook business. Does
- anyone have any idea how easy it will be to find used/new upgrade
- components or replacement parts? The computer meets and (in some
- facets) exceeds my needs, which are not going to change (mostly word
- processing), so I'm not too worried about things like RAM
- availability, but what about battery replacements? How standardized
- are batteries for laptops and notebooks? Thanks in advance.
