- I have a Sun SLC with an external box containing two SCSI drives
- and a SCSI tape. The SCSI bus extends through the box to another
- connector on the back of the box. Should there be a terminator on
- this? Everything works fine except that electrical noise (e.g. pulling
- out a mains plug nearby) sometimes causes a SCSI bus reset (message on
- Sun console, and tape drive resets). This suggests to me that the
- reset line is floating at a high impedance.
-
- Please e-mail responses, I'll summarize.
