  15. Some time ago I mentioned a test that I wanted to set up in order to 
  16. integrate VMS and Unix backup, using Hierarchy from Software Partners on VMS 
  17. and an EPOCH server. To remind you on the purpose :
  18. - use Hierarchy to archive VMS files to a NFS mounted disk on Unix (in the
  19. final configuration this should be the EpochServer) using Multinet NFS Client
  20. - when arriving on the EpochServer files are immediately archived on optical
  21. disk
  22. - restore files automatically from EpochServer optical disk to EpochServer
  23. harddisk to VAX disk
  24.  
  25. Unfortunately, the current release of Hierarchy does not allow for an outswap
  26. to the NFS mounted Unix directory. It will be provided in the next release,
  27. available dec '92 - jan '93.
  28. So, the tests are interrupted temporarily.
  29. Any other suggestions and/or comments are always welcome.
