  15. We are running an LAVC with VMS 5.5-1, a dual VAX 4300 as bootservers and 
  16. 45 satellites, including VS4000/60.
  17. Since the installation of VMS 5.5-1 and the adding of the VAX4000/60 we 
  18. experience frequently following problem :
  19. The complete cluster hangs while at the bootmembers consoles a massive 
  20. amount of cluster messages appear (see below)

  30. The bootmembers do not crash !!
  31. After shutting down the workstation causing the problem (in this case 
  32. BTMWB5) everything becomes normal again. Sometimes it helps to kill an 
  33. application on the workstation. 
  34. Let me add that it is not always the same workstation.

  36. I assumed it could be related to the SCSCONNCNT parameter in SYSGEN, but 
  37. after increasing it up to 130, the problem did not disappear. Do we have to
  38. adapt other cluster parameters ? Is the problem related to VMS 5.5-1 ?
