- Hi.
-
- I have an ethernet segment configured to support two different
- subnets. Unfortunately the routers serving this segment only
- generate one routing update sourced from one of its two configured
- IP addresses on that segment. For the SUN workstations in the
- subnet that the routers sources the update from this is not a
- problem. Routed functions properly. The SUN workstations
- in the other subnet are not as fortunate. Routed on these machines
- is currently not excepting updates from a router it considers
- non-local.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas how I might be able to make this
- work (without using gated or fudging subnet masks on the
- workstations)? The SUNs are 4.1.
-
- Thanks.
