- The maximum length for a 2B1Q loop is 18,000 feet, which is about the
- same as 6 kilometers.

- There are various technologies available for extending loops. The
- simplest is a loop extender that gives you another 18,000 feet. Some
- RBOCs will include the loop extender in their tariff and others will
- charge extra for it.
