- I lost the article, but someone asked why Dracula took the boat instead
- of the train to escape his pursuers. The writer states that he (Dracula)
- could easily have outrun VanHelsing et al by train.
- I've mentioned this before, but nobody has said anything about having read
- it, so I'll say it again. Read *The Dracula Tapes* by Fred Saberhagen. It asks
- (and answers) this very question. It also answers another question:
- How does a metal sword manage to kill an immortal vampire?

- P.S. Saberhagen says the cross does nothing to Drac because he is Catholic.
- Rather, it offends him to have the holy relic used in such a profane
- manner.
