- I personally use .09s. I find them very comfortable to play. I have 10s
- on my acoustic and I sometimes wish that there were .09s for them, although
- I'd imagin it would be way too thin.
-
- Otherwise I've had no problems. On my Strat is fine, although on my Gibson
- ES-345 clone the high strings tend to break rather often. Good thing they
- are not expensive to replace!! :-)
-
- Alex Lifeson from Rush and I believe David Gilmour from Pink Floyd use .09s
- as well. I don't know how Stevie Ray Vaughan ever could play the 13s. It
- would be like playing on electrical cable! :-)
-
- Anyway, I'd imagin that it really boils down to personal preference, I like
- to use them. Try it out and see the difference.
