  11. I personally use .09s.  I find them very comfortable to play.  I have 10s
  12. on my acoustic and I sometimes wish that there were .09s for them, although
  13. I'd imagin it would be way too thin.

  15. Otherwise I've had no problems.  On my Strat is fine, although on my Gibson
  16. ES-345 clone the high strings tend to break rather often.  Good thing they
  17. are not expensive to replace!! :-)

  19. Alex Lifeson from Rush and I believe David Gilmour from Pink Floyd use .09s
  20. as well.  I don't know how Stevie Ray Vaughan ever could play the 13s.  It
  21. would be like playing on electrical cable! :-)

  23. Anyway, I'd imagin that it really boils down to personal preference, I like
  24. to use them.  Try it out and see the difference.
