- I would like to query some of you who use effect loops and
- effects in general. (ie. most of us) Some people like their
- effects in a definite order, others could care less.
-
- Person A's effect chain might be:
-
- guitar -> distortion -> outboard reverb -> guitar amp input
-
- Person B's same effects might be ordered:
-
- |----effect loop---|
- guitar -> guitar amp input -> reverb -> distortion
-
- - OR -
- |----effect loop---|
- guitar -> guitar amp input -> distortion -> reverb
-
- Do you folks find a significant difference in your sound as a
- result of the ordering of the effects you use ? Do you find
- the effects sound different in and out of the effects loop (if
- you have one) ? Just curious.
-
- Regards,
- Tom
