- One of the problems that was nto the fault of the furry party was
- that the Church of the sub-genius was having something called a "Bob" party
- and sent out postcards and such inviting people not with the con to attend.
- Well the informaltion was poorly hand written becuase the room number for the
- Bob party (620) looked like the one for the Furry party (626). By then the
- room was really full. Jimmy Chin left so I decided to follow him out to see
- what was wrong.
- Well we wound up a floor down and across the hotel at a room full of
- people just drawing, it was quieter and more sedate so I steyed there. In it
- were Scott Norman, Dusty Rhodes, Ken Sample, John N(soemething), and Jreemy
- Kidd. I wound up talking, passing around and playing with my toy guns, and
- even drawing in a couple of sketch books. This seemed to be the place for
- the artist and people on FurryMuck. I got a quick sketch from Eric Schwartz
- and bought a simple peice from Jeremy Kidd. All in all it was not a bad
- setup; The only problem was most people commuting between the two rooms all
- night. The "ASB" party was down the hall from one of the rooms, a lot of
- furries stopped by--though I didn't, having seen it last year.
- I grabbed most of my items from the main furry party room and left
- about 2:30 AM, I heard later the party ended at 3 which is about typical.
- Once back at my room Tom Pluck showed me all the artwork he acquired during
- the say, including a really *nice* and cute skunk sketch from Eric Schwartz.
- Saturday was very satisfying.
