  25. I find it particularly sad that you people (no offense intended) think
  26. everyone was voting *against* one person in the pack.  Could it be that people
  27. voted FOR candidates because they thought one was going to do the best job?

  29. people actually wanted a certain person to win, rather than a different person
  30. to lose....(of course, considering the outcome that may have more than a grain
  31. of truth to it.....)

  33. No one has a mandate.  No one has an anti-mandate.  The only thing that a
  34. non-majority victory means is that those elected better be willing to
  35. compromise with the rest of the turkeys, or their gooses are all cooked.
