- While I have not seen An Autums Tale or as Tears go by one thing I have noticed
- about HK filmmakers is that they have the ability to make films about people
- and theire relationships. Whether it's an ultraviolent gangster flick ala John
- Woo or something a little more low key they have the abiltiy to make films in
- which you care about the characters. I have noticed that a lto of times even in
- the most cheesiest film some thought on the relationship of the characters was
- given. While most American films seem to fail in that category-everything feels
- so contrived in most US films. I beleive that the film "Stop or My Mom will
- Shoot" would have made a great HK film.
